Four lucky YouthBuild students recently learned how to dress professionally from a real pro through an Urban League of Greater Atlanta partnership with Bloomingdale’s and executives from PGIM.
Brian Short, a professional stylist with Bloomingdale’s at Lenox Mall, Atlanta, shared his expertise on the key pieces of clothing every man should have in his closet, why it is important to purchase quality shoes and how to properly remove labels from a suit sleeve.
Next, the students went shopping with executives from PGIM who helped them put their newly acquired skills and knowledge to good use. Thanks to the generosity of Bloomingdale’s and PGIM, the students had the means to purchase professional clothing to wear for their next interview and jobs.
After shopping, the students were treated to lunch at Bloomingdale’s where each one received a gift bag full of useful items to ensure they are well groomed, along with being appropriately dressed, for any professional occasion.
