Black Restaurant Accelerator
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted many industries, but none have experienced more immediate effects than the food and beverage industry. Restaurants and foodservice businesses have especially faced challenges ranging from restrictions, employee safety and health, supply chain disruption, and more. That is why we are excited to announce the launch of the Restaurant Resilience program, a new program produced in partnership with the Urban League of Greater Atlanta.
The Restaurant program, powered by the Atlanta Restaurant Association, is a 5-week virtual course for owners and operators of restaurants and foodservice businesses with a focus on stabilization and growth. The course covers everything from navigating regulations, how to build and improve your financial foundation, marketing to your customers, human resources, and more.
This program is being generously sponsored by the Urban League of Greater Atlanta at no cost to attendees.
Applying for Grant Funding
To apply for grant funding you must;
- Complete all scheduled workshops and business coaching for the cohort that you are accepted to.
- Complete all task assigned by your business coach.
- Complete all surveys and assessments sent to you for data collection purposes.
- Upon cohort series completion, you will receive the link to apply to the Pepsico Build Black Grant Portal to be considered for grant funding.
NOTE: Not all applications for grants will be awarded funding. Grant funding will be determined by the Build Black Portal Review team.
