From the office of Congressman Hank Johnson;
On Thursday, April 9 at 4 PM, I’m holding a small business webinar about the coronavirus. My guests and I will discuss how small businesses, sole proprietors, and independent contractors can overcome the challenges created by the crisis. To participate in the webinar, click HERE to sign up. We’ll have Chris Clark, President and CEO of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce; Terri Denison, Georgia District Director of the Small Business Administration and Ruby C. Riesinger, Area Director for UGA’s Small Business Development Center in DeKalb on the webinar to answer your questions about programs for small businesses and most importantly those programs under the CARES Act – legislation that provides $367 billion for small business relief. The event will be livestreamed at hankjohnson.house.gov/live. If you would prefer to participate from a phone, call 866-654-9483 at 4 PM on Thursday.

I’m continuing to reach out to constituents to give you the best information and facts on the coronavirus to help you and your family get through this crisis. On Thursday, April 2, I held my second telephone town hall on COVID-19. To listen to a livestream, click HERE. I will continue to work every day to bring you facts and information on what resources are available to you and your family during this difficult time.
As always, I appreciate your time and feedback. Please remember you can reach me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as well as e-mails, phone calls and letters. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to represent you in Congress. Please continue following CDC guidelines during this difficult time. I look forward to an informational and constructive meeting on Thursday. If you are a small business owner, I hope to see you there!
