Urban League Careers

What it means to join the ULGA staff?

The Urban League of Greater Atlanta (founded in 1920 as the Atlanta Urban League) has a long-standing reputation as a premier organization working to advance civil rights and economic justice for Black people and other marginalized groups. The organization is one of 92 affiliates of the highly regarded National Urban League. Today, ULGA serves thousands of individuals and families in the Atlanta metro area and partners with organizations throughout the state to remove obstacles to progress and to stabilize lives.

The team works together as a family to build individualized plans to help clients reach their goals in education, training and certification, employment and career advancement, homeownership, small business growth, and more. We also have robust civic engagement initiatives to promote justice in all levels of government and society.

A job at the League is not “just a job.” It’s a promise to strive for excellence in each undertaking. We treat each other with respect, cooperation, and a recognition that what we accomplish matters. For ourselves. For our clients. And for the world we share.
