The Spirit of the League Awards Luncheon and Community Empowerment Day is designed to recognize individuals who have exhibited the “Spirit of the Urban League Movement” by overcoming significant challenges in their lives to go on to achieve success and give back to the community. By honoring these individuals our goal is to inspire individuals in our community who may be facing challenging times to to be motivated to achieve their highest human potential and take control of their lives and make positive sustainable changes with the support of community organizations and resources.
