Fulton County Partners with Vision to Learn to Launch Eye Exams and Free Glasses

Fulton County Government – Certified Public Manager Program is delighted to partner with Vision to Learn—supported by the generous funding of the Chick-fil-A Foundation—to launch Vision to Learn’s free eye exams and free glasses program in Georgia in July 2017.

Vision to Learn provides free eye screenings, eye exams and glasses for school-age youth living in low income communities in six states.  The non-profit has served more than 80,000 youth at its mobile clinics. Vision to Learn estimates that 24,000 school-age youth need eye glasses in the City of Atlanta, Fulton and DeKalb Counties.     To address this problem, Fulton County Government will host two days of free eye screenings and exams this summer.  Vision to Learn will provide 400 youth with free eyeglasses.  Eye screenings and exams will take place July 10 and 11 at the following County facilities:
